Summary:
8LA worked with Burling Brown Architects to update an external play area for the St Stephens Prep Centre by creating an external physical learning space. To review and enhance facilities by forming a series of outdoor rooms with variety, sensory stimulation and environmental connection. Core to the design was maintaining and integrating existing elements into the final design and expanding the footprint of the space by creating elevated boardwalks, climbing walls, forts and parts in the otherwise under-utilised steep areas of the site.
