Summary:
The Brisbane scooter parks were delivered as a Design and Construct project with Naturform for the design and delivery of 4 unique scooter tracks complementing existing park facilities. The process involved design collaboration with Brisbane City Council to deliver:
– Paul Conti Park (Moreton Bay-themed playground)
– Kathleen Street Park (integrated into adjoining bushland and defining local cricket pitch)
– Wittonga Park (with undulating turfscape and tunnel)
– Shaftsbury Slalom (incorporating a downhill snake run).

Paul Conti Park works feature:
– a scooter track with supporting riding and character features.
– a shaded island-themed playground with a beach hut, double swing, mini theatre, slide and fishing rod.
– a dry creek bed with nature play elements, a scooter ferry, a bridge and animal sculptures.
– a new picnic shelter and seating.
