Summary:
The Brisbane scooter parks were delivered as a Design and Construct project with Naturform for the design and delivery of 4 unique scooter tracks complementing existing park facilities. The process involved design collaboration with Brisbane City Council to deliver:
– Paul Conti Park (Moreton Bay themed playground)
– Kathleen Street Park (integrated into adjoining bushland and defining local cricket pitch)
– Wittonga Park (with undulating turfscape and tunnel)
– Shaftsbury Slalom (incorporating a downhill snake run).
Kathleen Street works feature a scooter track with a tunnel, moguls, texture panels, and a seating log with information about native bees that visit the area.
