Summary:
The Mill is a proposed mixed-use development within the district centre of “The Mill Central” as part of The Mill PDA at Petrie. This represents one of the first redevelopments “west of the tracks” that is important in re-engaging the existing Petrie community. It considers improved connectivity and mid-block connections, addressing human-scale amenity and activating the street by improving permeability through the site. The provision of interesting sub-tropical planting and hard landscape elements with textural and pattern variation will provide a series of engaging spaces.
