Summary:
The Springfield Central Sports Complex is a regional sporting facility that includes Development Areas 16 and 17. The project provides four multi-purpose fields, cricket nets, netball and tennis courts, clubhouses, car parking, playgrounds and extensive hard and soft landscaping including signage and wayfinding.
The site is defined by four large terraces to accommodate each sports field. A shared cycle and pedestrian path network provides connectivity within the site and to greater Springfield.
The landscape provides amenity and an attractive setting that will continue as a legacy for the Springfield community for current and future generations.
