Summary:
8LA and Cardno completed the development of a significant major sports park within the EDQ designated Yarrabilba Estate in the Logan City Council area.
The project involved master planning and concept delivery of the entire park precinct continuing with detailed design and construction delivery of the first half of the precinct. Detailed and coordinated liaison with the Client’s estate consultants in addition to a team of Cardno-engaged specialist sub-consultants drove the project’s design and delivery.
The design scope included a range of training and competition level playing fields for multiple codes, clubhouse facilities, parking, informal recreation and play spaces, public art and detailed stormwater infrastructure, all on a site located adjacent to a key fauna corridor.
