This project focused on the additional Indoor Sports Stadium and surrounding facilities at Carrara, for the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Landscape included the provision of the sports field, park and plaza areas to allow for both Commonwealth Games and legacy uses. Some key concepts included the interface with Metricon Stadium, the transition of spaces from park to plaza, incorporating character and heritage themes and layering of rich historical references and storytelling.
