Summary:
The upgrade of Doug Jennings Park has significantly improved one of the Gold Coast’s most popular destinations for the benefit of local residents and visitors. The project scope included an improved ring road, carparks and a shared path adjacent to the Gold Coast Seaway. The landscape featured new native trees, beach showers, picnic tables and benches, bin enclosures and drinking bubblers. A second dive platform provides further opportunities to explore the Gold Coast Seaway and drift with the incoming and outgoing tides.
