Three Active Transport Studies explored improving infrastructure to change travel behaviour. The Surfers Paradise Study between Main Beach and Fern street investigated the opportunity for a Priority Pedestrian Zone in the heart of Surfers Paradise associated with the Cavill Mall and Surfers Paradise Foreshore.
The Chevron Island active Transport Study explored options for improving connectivity across Thomas Drive, Chevron Island as part of a potential Arts Walk between Surfers Paradise and the Gold Coast Cultural Precinct, including the impact of High Capacity Transport along Thomas Drive.
The Golden Four Drive study at Tugun has explored multiple options for addressing the gap in connectivity for the Oceanway at Tugun. The team also worked on broader community Consultation to test the options with the local residents and stakeholders.
