Gerard is particularly interested in active transport and public art. He established not for profit group Village Bike in 2013. This community workshop based at Burleigh promotes active travel, encourages the repair and repurposing of bikes, is focussed on positive mental health of members and has exhibited 7 times in the SWELL Sculpture Festival.
